My plan does. There is a view called “sources” that breaks down Roth, traditional, match, discretionary, etc. The detail includes the Roth 5 year clock. Fidelity is custodian so I assume they offer this detail for all their plans. The lack of tranparency at TSP shameful.I wonder what is typical of industry 401k plans that offer Traditional and Roth contributions? Do the custodians clearly break out Traditional and Roth balances in their record keeping systems (as subaccounts, for example) and do they allow choosing separate investment options for Traditional and Roth portions? I don't have a 401k to compare with. When the proposal gets published in the Federal Register, can we take advantage of the solicitation of public comments to suggest that, as part of this change, the TSP give participants the ability to see the exact breakdown of how each of their funds are divided between the traditional and Roth accounts, and also give participants the ability to set different allocations for their traditional and Roth accounts?
