I made another post about how I'm considering buying a Ninja creami machine. I've watched several videos and the best way to make the frozen protein powder based "ice creams" I desire to make seem to involved using an immersion blender to mix the ingredients.
If I bought an immersion blender, I suppose I could use it for mixing protein powder shakes (rather than using my blender or just stirring with a spoon bc I'm lazy) or to mix instant pudding mixes more easily.
I won't be using the device for serious cooking uses so I don't think I need an expensive one, would this be correct?
I saw some cheap ones on Amazon for $15-30 and I saw there are some for over $100. I found a thread here from 2017 where someone mentioned buying a Cuisinart from Costco:

This https://www.costco.com/p/-/cuisinart-po ... ue&nf=true is what I found currently on Costco for $50. Is this any good? Is it better to get this versus the cheap ones on Amazon (where I could buy two if the cheap.lne busted and break even with buying this)?
What makes the $100 ones better than this Costco version?
Thanks.
