Relatively new Boglehead here. I think I have read every post spanning the past few years. My financial background is fraught with all the typical mistakes. I have settled on an allocation that for once, allows me to sleep well at night.
Every time I read a post and get the idea to increase this or decrease that due to FOMO or some other financial insecurity, I end up doing absolutely nothing.
While the current trajectory makes me feel a little uneasy, and at some point there will invariably be a significant downturn, I realize I have no control over it and will stick to my reasonable allocation and focus on the other parts of my life that I can actually influence.
This is a wonderful and liberating feeling.
