Interesting I've neve watched anything on Amazon Prime except for the Jack Ryan show, but I'm watched many Paramount Plus shows - lots of star trek on Paramount Plus and many of the current CBS shows. I don't have Walmart+ though, just Paramount Plus.I presently have both. We've had Prime for years, but I'm looking to switch because we're mainly using it for free shipping. Prime Video doesn't have much new content anymore, they introduced additional fees on Fresh grocery delivery, and it's become more difficult to do returns. It doesn't seem worth the money anymore.
WalMart+ is compelling. It's the same price, you get free 1-2 day delivery, free grocery delivery, and free Paramount+ (which I'm already paying for). I wouldn't buy produce, meat, or fruit at WalMart, but for everything else, they are by far the cheapest and have the widest selection.
For those with Walmart+, do you find it worth it?
Is there any reason to keep Prime and not switch to Walmart?
How is the grocery delivery?
Assuming you stay away from third party sellers, are the products generally genuine and decent quality? The CNBC story posted on here from a couple months ago about counterfeits is a bit concerning.
And a wild card... Target Circle 360. There is free same day delivery from stores like Target, Lowes, Petco, etc. which we often shop at. Has anyone tried this service?
Have had Amazon Prime just about since it came out. Will always have it.
Have Walmart+ for the first time. Paid $49 for it. Would never pay $98 for it. Rarely watch anything on Paramount+ since it has such an extremely limited selection compared to Amazon Prime.
1) For things I buy regularly Amazon Prime is either the same as Walmart or much less. It's rare that Walmart is better.
2) I'm a huge Amazon buyer. Get the 5% reward. That extra 3% over my 2% Citi card easily pays for Prime. Will always choose the 6% option for slower delivery when offered.
3) I watch some of Amazon Prime Video every night when I get in bed. I find it has plenty of choice that I like.
4) I have 275,000 pictures (1.25 TB) stored for free at Amazon photos.
5) I sometime use the free Amazon Music.
6) Buy lots of non-perishable food for both myself and my cats at Amazon. No less expensive anywhere else and, usually, more expensive.
I've never had any issues from items I buy from either Amazon or Walmart.
