For a while I had a small investment in a TIPS fund, but haven't had that for a very long time. Currently I have no TIPS of any kind, only I-bonds (but I'm not buying more of those, either, and most will be gone within a few years.)
I do think Bogleheads overestimate the predictability of their future liabilities and underestimate the nuisance of dealing with individual TIPS vs. a fund (especially in an estate or for a survivor), but I also don't think one or the other is likely to matter much.
Would love to see that with actual numbers. Not just words.
