Personal Consumer Issues • A home with stairs?

A slight tangent, but the good CCRCs near me have multiple-year waiting lists. So, at least here, you couldn't decide today you wanted to move in soon. You'd move in when you hit the top of the wait list, which is years.

This problem drives a lot of people to move in "early" to a CCRC of their choice.
Interestingly, at this CCRC there’s not much of a wait for the small one-bedroom unit I’d want to move to. Apparently, everyone wants to move into the 1800-2000 sq. ft. “villas”. Long wait list for those. In any case, since my condo has an elevator, I can afford to wait for a few years if the situation changes. 8-)
