That has nothing to do with why this thread was created. There have been many such threads here on the forum, and that ground has been beat to death.And I agree that this is an excellent thread because people should understand the process and what is needed/expected by the IRS.
Sure. The only thing missing is some idea of what threshold the IRS has actually questioned HSA reimbursements. Maybe somebody should create a dedicated thread for that!There is a poster above who appears to go (in my opinion) overboard on record keeping. Nothing wrong with that, as that is what they feel like they need to do. But, I think it is apparent that if you have something, you're going to be ok if ever questioned. I think that is the biggest benefit of this thread.
