Also unless it has changed, If you live in a CARB compliant state the warranty is actually 150k miles. (I think there are caveats that may limit to original owner but kind of tells you, you can at least expect that).

EV batteries are 8/100, PHEV are 10/150 in CARB states and sometimes elsewhere.

Batteries can fail for reasons that have little to do with wear. Our EV battery was replaced (under warranty) due to a coolant leak.
