Hide sweeps has no effect.The option of hiding settlement fund transactions already exists. Furthermore, Vanguard has provided not one, but two ways to do it. On the transaction history page there's a slider button labeled, "Hide sweeps". And if the slider button is off, then in the drop down list for "Transaction type filter" there are separate check boxes for "Sweep in" and "Sweep out".Yes, it would be nice to have the option of hiding the “behind-the-scenes” settlement fund transactions.
There are no check boxes for "sweep in" and "sweep out".
AIUI these are related to the cash plus account, which I am not using because from the limited information Vanguard provides it's not very useful.
So there appears to be yet another level of pointless complexity I have so far avoided. I'm sure Vanguard has plans to make it mandatory in the future.
