Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Savings Bond Calculator Problem

I had never used this before. I just looked to see what might be wrong with it.

Open your saved HTML file in a text edit (e.g., Notepad).

Find:
<form method="post">
Change it to:
<form method="post" action="https://www.treasurydirect.gov/BC/SBCPrice">
Then the Return to Savings Bond Calculator button should work properly.
I'm not sure whether the Savings Bond site changed, or if Firefox changed. Saving a webpage to an html file locally and having it work is very "Web 1.0"... kind of like printing a web page not generating a jumbled mess. So, it's very untested nowadays. Perhaps the browsers put a <base href=...> tag into saved files in the past and no longer do.
I tried your suggestion and sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. Using FireFox 145.0.1, Win11.
