Personal Investments • Tax consequences of moving from VWIAX to VTSAX in a taxable account

My question is about simplifying via transferring VWIAX to VTSAX efficiently. I suspect there's a large tax hit for transferring it all at one time but is there an advantageous way to accomplish this?
Check your cost basis on VWIAX. Its distributions over the past decade have roughly matched its total return, so the average share price has been flat-ish for quite a while. There aren't many instances since 2013 when you could've bought in at a share price 10% or more below the current share price. Even if you bought at the absolute trough in 2009, your cumulative price return is only about 50-60%.
