Personal Investments • Funding Brokerage from Vanguard Cash Plus

I think there is a more direct route to purchasing mutual fund or ETF shares from your Cash Plus account. If you select your fund choice, and choose BUY, it should give you a limited selection of funding sources: money market fund (if you have one), external bank account (if you have previously linked one), or your Vanguard Cash Plus account. But I don’t have the Cash Plus account, just Vanguard’s money market, a brokerage, and an external linked bank account, so I can’t confirm for sure.
Yeah, this is the reason for my question. When I look to fund the transfer, Vanguard says I have $0 available to fund the purchase from Cash Plus. My best guess is that this is because all my Cash Plus money is in VMRXX, not the bank sweep program. I *think* that if I move money to the bank sweep program within Cash Plus, then Vanguard will see that I have money to fund my brokerage purchase...

But I don't really know. I was hoping to figure that out before I started moving things. But, I guess I'll just "press to test" and find out. I'll report back when I've tested it.
