Cashing a check is manual process that lets the charity to a sanity check.My spouse had a DAF check voided because the charity did not bother to cash it. Surprising because mobile deposit is trivial nowadays.
Some charities, with valid Form 990, and in Guidestar and Charity Navigator are not 503(c)(3)
but are other forms of charitable organizaation. They can not accept funds from a DAF, and if Fidelity pumps the money in,
it could cause problems.
