But for sending wires, Fidelity is terrible, as they make you call to provide the "For Further Credit To" instructions, and other details, instead of allowing them to be input online.

This has been fixed! Maybe it was mentioned previously (I only read the first 100 pages of this thread), but sometime in the past few months, Fidelity added a For Further Credit option to wire transfers created online.
