This will sound perhaps nutty, but this week I took a first step in this regard.
All my life, when paying for accommodation on my own dime, I have a good idea where my minimum comfort level lies....in terms of convenience, safetly, amenities
I research the ratings and reviews and then price....I've always gotten good deals.
This week I am traveling between two cities and needed a stop off. I purposely chose a nicely rated 4 star resort that's modestly above what I normally would spend.
The room and hotel is much comfy-er than I am used to and it's perfect for me right now after a tough month.
I would say this is now one fruit of my labor.
