[quote]… Also, if you don't mind, could you clarify why being single is a factor for large Roth conversions?

One reason it may make sense for a married couple to do Roth conversions is to avoid higher taxes for the surviving spouse as a Single filer. In your case, as a Single filer this scenario does not apply.
Also, given that (1) you are not too concerned about Roth conversions for your heir’s sake, and (2) your withdrawal rate is low (likely perpetual), there does not seem to be a compelling reason for you to have to do large Roth conversions for your benefit if you don’t want to.
But, with ~$1.3 million in tax deferred, your first RMD at age 75 will likely be > ~$51k which, when coupled with future SS benefits, may bump your marginal tax rate higher than your current 22% rate. So it’s possible Roth conversions may help you smooth your rate and maximize your aftertax $ or avoid/minimize IRMAA. But again, given your low withdrawal rate there does not seem to be a compelling reason for you to have to do large Roth conversions for your benefit as you likely will never run out of money imo.
