Have you experienced a significant shift from income taxes to consumption taxes? If yes, what do those details look like?
I don’t want to veer into politics, but I think tariffs are a consumption tax that have been touted as a way to reduce our reliance on income taxes as a way to fund the government. If you don’t think tariffs are a consumption tax, we can just agree to disagree. Fwiw, our income tax rates (other than state) have not increased while our consumption taxes have.
So your state income taxes have increased and you are okay with that?
