Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Considering a digital wallet

Thank everyone for your viewpoints. I am going to set up a digital wallet as part of my continuing technology education. I don't want to fall so far behind that I cannot function in society. I plan on continuing to carry at least one physical credit card. I'm not concerned about the police :happy .
Bizarre notion that police can force you to look at your phone. I can't imagine a situation like. But at least with Apple's iphone you have different levels of FaceID restrictions. For example, you can require it to unlock only if you stare directly at the phone. I've tested this looking up, down or to the side with my face directly in front of the camera and it will not unlock. Eyes closed of course it also fails to unlock. You can also set it up so that it only remains unlocked if you are giving it your attention. I've tested this and it is consistent. Look down just a bit and it won't unlock. I've also set up a voice command saying "lock" or whatever you want and the phone locks even as it is being grabbed out of your hand; just have to have presence of mind. I trained it with a loud, urgent sound to my voice; "lock"! Works like a charm.
Finally, you can quickly disable FaceID by pressing and holding the side button and either volume button for 2 seconds. If you are paranoid you can practice doing this when you are "forced" to draw your phone out of your pocket or purse. It locks after which you need the passcode numbers to get back in and re-enable FaceID. Then the fuzz can't force you to open it lol.
I didn’t know that about how to disable Face ID - thanks just tried it. Perfect.
