Here's the conversation that talk about it with the creator. viewtopic.php?t=331368

I ran your numbers through it real quick with a SS estimate at 70, and it looks okay for you to retire at 57.
Thanks. Sweet. Does this mean I can go above 4%?
Here's a link to TPAWPlanner plan with your general information added. https://tpawplanner.com/link?params=ThS ... yeecqslmSX

The withdrawal rate is not static in the an amortization-based withdrawal plan. It changes depending upon the circumstances you find yourself in throughout retirement. However, the Monthly Withdrawal Rate window does show this rate throughout retirement, but it's a snapshot in time.

The main output you should examine in the tool is the Monthly Spending During Retirement window. This shows a Monte Carlo analysis of spending throughout retirement when excellent returns, average returns, or very poor returns are realized.

Change the Risk Tolerance and Spending Tilt sliders to identify a Monthly Spending During Retirement pattern to your liking. Then, look at the Asset Allocation graph to identify an appropriate asset allocation. Asset allocation is an output of the tool, not an input.
