Personal Investments • Portfolio advice for late retirement

There is always risk, but with 35% in equities and a 2 year cash cushion, you would be safer than many
people your age. I like the 35/65 split, but the LQD seems to have a longer duration than I would be
comfortable with. Why not use a short term investment grade bond fund at Vanguard. If you want to
get a dividend fund, you could use SCHD or Vanguards High Dividend fund. The last 10% in your list
just complicates the portfolio with no real logic. With a 2M house likely paid for, you should be able
to weather any market risk at your age.

I am giving a little look into my opinion on your portfolio. If you can use the proposed method to
post as indicated in the above posts, you will get many more talented people responding than me.
