We like Landman, but it's because we don't take the plot very seriously. It's about the crazy characters and the mischief they get into. We like Mayor of Kingstown too, although it's very dark in both plot and scenery. Filmed where I live, in Western Pennsylvania, and truly highlights a rust belt setting. We enjoy seeing how they use some local places in the series.
Really enjoy Mayor of Kingstown. Just finished Season 4. Very much enjoyed Season 1 of Landman and looking forward to watching Season 2. I'll watch anything with Billy Bob Thornton.
I’m through 5 episodes of Landman season 2 and am still enjoying it very much. Not quite as good as Season 1 but still very entertaining in my opinion.
