Personal Consumer Issues • Coffee maker - Moccamaster or something else that will last?

How does the MoccaMaster compare to something like the Cuisnart Perfect temp? It seems highly rated and costs about 1/3 of the price.

I'm leaning towards the Moccamaster, but I just don't want to spend a small fortune on a coffee maker and be disappointed that the coffee isn't any better than a more basic model.
