Local credit union for most banking. Have been with them since the early 1990s. When I opened my account, they were a block away from my office. Later they built a branch office two blocks from my home, which is great since I am now retired. Decades ago I had my mortgage with them.
Opened a Fidelity brokerage account a bit over a year ago, switched from other brokerages. I use my Fidelity checking account for the rare but big checks (will be paying property tax in a week with one of their checks), probably will be using them for my estimated tax payment checks this year. They do not have teller service, thus not really capable of functioning as a sole bank.
I have debit cards and credit cards (both rewards, no annual fee) with both.
