FWIW the help doc says if you call and successfully cancel the membership then you will still have the login to freeze/unfreeze the credit file.Thanks a bunch for the link! They sure don't make it easy to find stuff like that one you're logged into the portal...
We may just need to cancel my wife's "membership" by calling them, then re-create the account while making sure to select the stripped-down membership my account already has.
