Investing - Theory, News & General • “Roth Conversions to the Top of the 12% Bracket” is Not a Great Rule of Thumb - Mike Piper

Another Mike Piper perspective that I find useful, whether or not you do reasonable Roth conversions, optimum or not, will not cause your spending plan to fail since it has no impact on inflation, SORR or the other factors that cause plans to fail. Put another way, large RMDs will not cause you to run out of money.

Conversions may save you or your heirs a bit of money in taxes. I like to think of it as the cherry on top of the icing on the cake.
