Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Final approach to Medicare – age 64

I have Part A, Part B and a G-HD with United American. I did this exam in 2025 thinking it would be 100% FREE or I would have waited until early 2026 so that any uncovered amount would apply to my 2026 high deductible amount.

I'm not gonna just rollover on this. The told me it was the INTO TO MEDICARE visit and then charged me. I feel like they mis-coded. Stay tuned.

I had an edit that crossed. The blood work is not covered by the Intro to Medicare visit. I'm still not totally clear from reading whether the ECG should have been completely free or not.

The Dr does need to be clear on what is covered/not covered by the various exams.
