But the movie was good. Never saw the series.I don't watch a lot of time travel series. I recall one from a few years ago (12 Monkeys) where they were trying to go back to stop a plague but the time travel was primitive and they could never arrive at the time they wanted/needed to.
So do I. Really. Mostly, time travel stories are pretty silly... because we know that they can go back in time at any point and fix everything.
It's deus ex machina, which is gives the writers an out at any time.
However, the Lazarus Project gets around this aspect by, for one thing, packing into most every episode a whole lot interesting stuff, including action and plot twists, and good acting, which keep the narrative moving.
It's going off Netflix soon and we're getting ready for the storm and likely power failure. Time to check to see if it's on DVDs at the local library!
