FYI, you will find that there is no account type called a "Spousal IRA". It is just an "eligibility test" allowing you to contribute to a Traditional or Roth IRA. If one spouse has enough compensation that is more than the contributions for both of you, then both persons' IRAs can get contributions for that year.
