I went from 55% stocks to 35% stocks over the past couple of years. The current environment had something to do with it. My proximity to retirement had something to do with it. Hitting my number had something to do with it. I also just turned 59.5 the end of last year which gave me access to rollover part of my 401K to an IRA. Given all that, I am now approx 1/3 Stocks (Roth), 1/3 TIPS ladder (trad'l)/I-bonds, 1/3 nominals (trad'l). But I do plan to let the stock part organically rise back up (withdraws from fixed income side and stock growth) above the original 55%.
