you can actually ask Fidelity reps @ r/fidelityinvestments ( this is an official Fidelity staffed subreddit for those who do not want to call their customer service and rather ask the question anonymously )I performed an indirect rollover from my Optum HSA to Fidelity HSA in February 2025 and was about to do this again.
1. Reimbursed myself all of the money from Optum HSA to my checking account.
2. Called Fidelity to do a rollover from my checking account into my Fidelity HSA and told them this is from another HSA. I remember this well.
The description of the transaction says Rollover Cash IRA. Why does it say IRA? Is this a mistake from Fidelity?
PS: Fidelity actually gets the credit for daring to have one , unlike many other brokerages
