I'm mostly a passive investor, but I do sometime following financial news mostly for fun.
Recently have been following Tesla stock and was expecting it to crater after the horrendous report: Tesla's Q1 profit down 48%, revenue drops 9%
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles ... -estimates
However to my surprise the stock skyrocketed after Musk talked about the somewhat long-shot Robotaxi.
I know there are those among us here who hold individual stocks. I'm just wondering: does this happen very often to individual stocks? Or it just Tesla. To me it just defies logic
