If one spends enough on travel, the reason to hold the Premium or Premium Elite cards is for the 2.625%/3.5% cash back in a simple one card set up. So you would want the Platinum Honors level if possible. BofA has much better cash options than they used to, arguably better than Fidelity in terms of higher paying funds available (but less so in terms of automation and ease of use).
It is possible to offset the $95 fee, or $550 fee with either United Travel Bank or American eGift Cards if these air lines are useful to one, otherwise they work for baggage fees and upgrades at other airlines. There are lots of posts on this in the main BofA thread.
I have the Premium Elite. I am able to use the United Credits as I live near a hub and fly United often, so I am getting Priority Pass for 4 users (anyone, they do not have to be authorized users), primary car rental coverage, and OK Visa Infinite benefits and travel protections (some are same as Chase Reserve, some not) for $100 a year, so this has value to me.
