Thanks. This is good to know ! It's disappointing that Adobe doesn't seem to have an official page documenting what happens when you don't renew.I believe the Print Module in LR Classic will still work even when your subscription has ended.
I did not renew my LR subscription some time back but I still use the print option in it to print existing and newly added photos.
I use a different editor for my photos but I still prefer to use the LR print option probably because I got used to it and don’t want to be bothered figuring out a new one.
Just putting it out there in case that might of use to you.
It might change with each version of the program over time, also.
My understanding was that you could no longer import any photos to your catalog, or make any edits to the photos, when the subscription ends.
Are you still able to import and catalog, along with updating metadata ?
When I choose to print something, which is not very often, I usually make some sort of adjustment - at minimum, crop to match the paper aspect ratio, sometimes color, brightness, etc.
For edits, I have not settled on an external editor. I don't do anything really advanced. Do the quick adjustments still work ? (not those in the develop module).
I use the face recognition a lot. It's really useful. It happens locally. I just wish it worked with cats
A few years ago, I sent some cat pictures to a fellow engineer who was into AI. The metadata had the names of the cats already tagged in each photo. She was unable to come up with an AI program that could automatically tell two of my 3 cats apart. They are sisters, but not twins. They have different size and features, but their faces are hard to tell apart. Even I have to think about it a bit when looking at a photo.
