OP,
I would love to see an update on your thoughts on everything everyone wrote.
My own comment is that math is math and based on your math you should be fine to retire as long as you can keep expenses under control compared to your portfolio size.
Personally I would hold off on buying a house for now. I think you are in great position to be patient and I believe the cosign market will improve for buyers in the next few years. On top of that with you spending only 3% of your portfolio, your portfolio ideally will increase and you will be in an even better position to buy.
Have you considered part time, per diem, temp, consulting work? That is the path we took at around your age and it has worked wonderfully for us. Working part time keeps your mind sharp, allows you to be a bit more social, and brings in a bit of income that will likely allow your portfolio to keep growing and provide some lifestyle creep. What is nice in your situation is that you don't need to make top dollar on these gigs. And, if you get sick of ding that, you can quite completely at any time.
Being productive is an important part of one's pride and self satisfaction. It doesn't have to be from paid work, but you need to do something to fulfill yourself. Hope you have something in your life that gives you that.
Good luck in whatever you choose.
