That’s a behavioral error called Anchoring. If you had the money in cash, would you invest in small and value? If not, sell the funds, get the cash, and then buy what you really want. And never go back to small and value.But my total market and S&P holdings are very appreciated over small and value. That would be a sell-low/buy-high scenario for me. I am looking for something to hold for a long period that has not appreciated much more than small and value, but that I believe has long-term growth potential. Healthcare is one of my candidates. I have no other sector bets in my portfolio.Put everything into Total Market and/or S&P 500 and don’t look back.
