Which area? SLC/Provo/Logan or Cedar City/St. George?

I just came from the Utah Shakespeare Festival at Southern Utah University in Cedar City. It's a stronger arts community than you might expect. It was warmer than previous years -- over 100F most afternoons -- but dry. Very pleasant first thing in the morning.

If I were looking to relocate, this would be on my short list. However, I'm rooted in SoCal, the house is paid off, and Prop 13 keeps my property taxes low, so I can't really consider leaving.
