I am doing this offer now. I funded the savings from Ally Bank and the time to appear in my Chase account was 3-4 days longer than the time Ally said it would be available. Maybe a manual screening process or extra hurdles for first deposit on a new account? If you time your deposit right you really only have to keep the 15K in there for 60 days before the bonus hits. Be careful though because I found funding my Chase account to be a PIA and barely got in under the wire in the 30 days allowed.Good timing, I just started this $900 Chase offer plus a separate $500 offer from PNC
Normally I don't waste my time with this stuff, but in this case it seemed low effort enough to be worth it for the reward. I guess the Chase reward is technically $700 since you forfeit about $200 or so of interest on the 15k leaving it parked in their "savings account" for a minimum of 90 days, as it has a 0% yield vs the 5.5% market yield on treasuries
