Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Turned down for promotion/raise at work : Downshifting into coasting?

This was me 3 years ago and advice people gave me is to focus on job search and do the minimal viable while doing so.
There were promotions and higher paying job outside of the company but most require being in the office 3x a week.

Cutting back hours made me realize how great it is to have more time for myself and family. I continue with my downshift and proved to be very successful at coasting but still able to meet my goals at work. I stopped looking for another job because
1- I m very closed to hitting my FI number and don’t think the higher pay justify the bigger responsibility and stress
2- after working significantly less, I found that the extra time I have for myself much more valuable and a new job would require me to work harder
I used to be super ambitious in my younger years and frankly I m not sure if it’s hitting FI that makes me so unambitious or maybe after a few years of burnout I m just tired. My plan is to ride this out as long as I can, continue to build my net worth wait until they lay me off. Then I will figure out my next job based on how much I need to make.
