Personal Investments • Vanguard is asking for a "limit" number to sell ESPP

Hello.

I recently transferred over about $14k in ESPP stock from Computershare to Vanguard. I am trying to sell it and buy back into VTI, but it's asking me to put in a value for limit price? I have 285 shares exactly it seems.

Change the order-type from Limit to Market and just sell it (and it will sell quickly at whatever the market value is). Or if you don't like the bid/ask spread (think the bid is too low for what it's worth), go forward with a limit on the minimum bid you'll accept to sell (which is your ask price), but your order may not fill (no buyers find your ask price acceptable).

Changing the Order Type should be somewhere on the order page.
