Called vanguard today to wire money for house closing (international). Having money in two different settlement accounts it would be $25 fee to sell the shares in the settlement accounts each and then the two wire charges for $10 each. Moved the money today to avoid the double charge. I don't need help or over the phone transaction help to sell the shares but I cant wire the money because the account is not linked. Somewhat frustrating situation. I don't mind the wire fee but the phone brokerage fee irks me.
I know i read about a form to do this but cannot seem to locate that on the vanguard site. Better way of doing this? I guess i could send to my regular bank and do it but i should not have to
