Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Fidelity as a one stop shop

Fritz: Be very careful about keeping zero in your CMA and relying on the cash manager to pay your bills. This works most of the time, but if any charge is manually processed Fidelity may dishonor the charge. It is much safer to use self-liquidation in the same account rather than relying on the cash manager because the "funds available for withdrawal" will be evident to the person manually processing the charge.
Don't think I will go with the 0 CMA approach. CMA will hold cash (in SPAXX) to cover our spending plus a buffer. Brokerage will hold emergency savings and etc.
