I have a friend of my daughter who is currently unemployed and homeless (long story but not the point). This person had some part time income in 2023 ( they do have w2) but has not filed a tax return for 2023. They tried to file one but was told it was too late so it was not accepted.
Looking for suggestions on where to direct them for help to get the taxes filed. Unfortunately this person is not financially or computer savvy and struggles to just focus on getting things done, so I think they need to find a real live person that can help walk them through the steps.
Any suggestions on where to refer them greatly appreciated. If it matters, they are in WA, so at least no state tax problems....
