Just curious for customers of Prudential that have Annuities with them, is the LPL Financial anything to be concerned about?
Had a family member receive notice it was changing from Pruco Securities to LPL Enterprise LLC and they're older and concerned if they should do/change anything. Sounds like the Broker of Record will change to this LPL Financial and you've got 45 days to let them know if you're not allright with that. (doesn't say what happens after 45 days, probably nothing, but they're just putting the customer on notice with a reason to follow-up..
...)
I suspect it is of no consequence big picture. However, they've always dealt with a Prudential Rep on their finances and these accounts so I'm curious what this change means to the Prudential Advisor. Is this a big hairy deal for them? Family member doesn't talk with the Prudential agent too often as they're actually out of state and family member feels they're on auto-pilot and they have no reason to check in too often, but just want to make sure they don't dump all their annuities and do something else someday..
Just curious if her Prudential Advisor is affected negatively or not and just wanting to make sure this transition that I'm sure will be touted as no change (near term) isn't a readily obvious fiasco (long term) if it can be somewhat predicted.
Curious on your all thoughts. I figure many others have received similar that participated in this Prudential Annuity products.
