Yup - TreasuryDirect is going the way of the dodo-bird. I’ve got the same issue with receiving a timely e-mail response - to inquiries - we are understaffed and may not be able to respond to your questions. If that’s the case, don’t offer email as an option. It gets worse, if the account holder dies, they will lock the account, if the decedent has interest payments or matured securities, they will hold the proceeds hostage in a non-interest bearing account called a “zero C of I” account.
