Is there a reason tho hold TIAA traditional during accumulation, it looks just like a stable value fund that seems a been inappropriate before retirement.
When you go to annuitize it at retirement, you will get a bonus for having been invested in Traditional for a long time. IMO the bonus won't make up for the difference in returns compared to a SP500 index fund over a long period. My strategy is to not go into TIAA Traditional until about 10 years before retirement.
