Agree - software-based calculators are a solution to the problem of having thousands or millions of amateurs and newbs making mistakes manually entering formulas, or more likely, deciding something is beyond their ability. Very few people would manage their own finances if it required using that kind of calculator, and I say that as someone who fondly remembers when 1 (enter) 2 (+) equaled three.I gave away the one I bought in 1977 when I was in graduate school. I'm seeming to remember I had cards I could buy to program for certain functions. My statistics got all excited when I showed it her and she had me punching in all kinds values to do some kind of array calculation.
May I suggest getting one of these things, and you will never have to rely on online calculators again. Best thing I ever bought.

You can go here for instructions on how to use it.

But I'd much rather use what I find online than any handheld device.
