Investing - Theory, News & General • HSA Bank eliminating investment options

Hello

I also have HSABank through my Fed Gov HDHP. I have small amount at Schwab and looks like everyone is moving that to Fidelity. I understand that it can be done through Fidelity account and just initiate the transfer of all assets - and may take a few weeks. Understood.

My question is: I get $166/month deposited to my HSABank as part of the HSA. How do I move this cash to Fidelity? When I had Schwab, I was able to move the money to Schwab from my HSABank Account. How do I initiate this once I have my Fidelity account? HSABank's Investment vehicle charges 0.1 fee for account, which is too high for my blood. Thank you!

You don't, unless you want to jump through hoops to do manual transfers every month.

Use the HSA Bank HSA for the $166/month. They don't charge you any 0.1% fee, GEHA negotiated a waiver of that. But if they did the 0.1% would be worth avoiding the hassle of monthly manual transfers.
