shows that $600k had a 82.7% successful withdrawal of $40k yearly over 15 years in past market cycles. That means you could continue to spend from that $600k even during most minor types of crashes.

Many senior assisted care facilities have no upfront fee, just monthly charges.
Could keep that $500k upfront fee and use it to supplement SS for those monthly fees.
