It sounds as if you're asking the forum to come up with an asset allocation for you. That's unlikely to help, since asset allocation is personal.Hi fellow Bogleheads, appreciate your advice on what fund shall I invest in 401K and IRA from now to retirement.
We don’t make much, but have tried to save as much as possible over the years.
We currently have about 30% in retirement target fund 2040, the rest are in SPY, QQQ or equivalent.
As we are approaching retirement age, shall we leave the current funds the way it is, and start to put new money to bond funds?

I'd suggest you read the wiki page on asset allocation and take the Vanguard investor questionnaire. At the conclusion of the quiz, a recommendation is made based on your answers to the questions.
