The Citi Costco VISA has paid me about $2000 in extended warranty claims on a $4000 hot tub. It used to extend the warranty by 24 months, but this card no longer has any extended warranty as of now, unfortunately.
According to the following link, it appears that the no-AF Citi Rewards + may still have 24 months extended warranty, and it doesn't have an exclusion for items installed at home.

I couldn't confirm that on citi.com, though. But many cardholders have reported on reddit that they still have that benefit on their account. It may be worth a call.
